What happens when a group of geeks attend a comic-con panel to explore the parallels between our most famous historical figures and the heroes and villains of popular culture? To find out, join Musical Theatre Productions’ incredible cast of Jesus Christ Superstar as they don their favourite jeans and comic book t-shirts to bring this modern retelling of a masterpiece to life!
Jesus Christ Superstar is the global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for over 40 years! As Jesus’ radical teachings are evermore embraced, Judas increasingly questions the enlightened motives of this new prophet, resulting in betrayal. Christ's final days are dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatricality through the medium of rock music.

We are thrilled to announce that Art Fidler will be the first recipient of the MTP’s annual Lifetime Membership honour. Each year, the MTP board will select one individual whose support of MTP and contributions to the London community at large deserve recognition. There is no one more worth of this inaugural honour than our own co-founder and longtime community supporter, Mr. Art Fidler. Through his years of service both in education and the theatre community, Art has touched many lives and inspired many people young and old alike. Join us on April 3 at the McManus Studio for a special honouring of Art Filder, before the opening night performance of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. After the show, join us in the lobby for a special reception in honour of Art Fidler and the talented cast and crew of this exciting new production
