For the first time in MTP history, we are teaming up with the team behind the the Brickenden-Award-winning production of Dogfight (2018). We invite you to attend the tale of SWEENEY TODD: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, co-produced by Musical Theatre Productions and Allswell Productions. Andrew Lloyd’s Webber’s family favourite reimagines the classic Bible story with an eclectic mix of music to tell the story of Joseph, his father Jacob, his scheming brothers, and his dazzling coat.

Finally in Summer 2020, we return to the Wave at Western University for a villainous musical revue, SOMETHING WICKED… This all-female show brings together your favourite villains including Mrs. Lovett, Miss Hanigan, Maleficent, Ursula, Lady Macbeth, Medusa and more for a night of fun and mischief in Club Inferno, featuring Broadway classics from “Cell Block Tango” to “Pulled” and pop hits from “Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” to “Born This Way”.

help us grow! Capital campaign

MUSICAL THEATRE NEEDS A NEW HOME (2).jpg

Musical Theatre Productions turns 30 this year and it is time for us to find a more permanent location to call home.

With this goal in mind, we have launched a new Capital Campaign. For as little as $20 you can buy a 'virtual brick' and feel a part of MTP’s future. All the funds from these donations will go to support the development of a location that MTP can use to store props and costumes, construct our sets and provide additional rehearsal space for future productions. All donors will be recognized on our website for their contributions both on our website and in the new space. This is a long term goal and we want to invite you to be part of the continual evolution of our group. So please consider donating to our campaign to help us find a new home to continue our mission to nurture the talent in the community and to inspire a passion for the arts."

DONATIONS MAY BE MADE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

  • During a show: Cheque/Cash payment at our 50-50 table

  • Email: Send e-transfer to treasurer@mtplondon.ca [use password hint: Donation, and password: mtplondon]
