postponement UPDATE

If you purchased tickets for our postponed production of SOMETHING WICKED: A Villainess Revue (originally scheduled for June 2020), we have not yet rescheduled this production. However, you are welcome to exchange your tickets for seats to JOSEPH (playing May 20-29, 2022) or request a refund at this time.

As a not-for-profit organization, we ask for our audiences' support at this time of crisis and that you consider donating the value of your ticket to Musical Theatre Productions so that we may continue our mission to nourish local talent and inspire a passion for musical theatre in the community. To donate the value of your tickets, please first obtain your refund from the Grand Theatre Box Office and then donations can be made via e-transfer to treasurer@mtplondon.ca using the password hint: "Donation", and password: "mtplondon". Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Tax receipts are not able to be issued for these donations.

We ask for patience and cooperation as the Grand Theatre Box Office team works to address all affected aspects of our programming as well as theirs. Higher than usual wait times should be anticipated when contacting the Box Office.

We encourage all of our patrons to stay safe and to continue to support the London theatre community. At times like this, we must all work together to ensure that the arts can continue in our community.

“We’re beautiful in our way, ‘cause evil makes no mistakes. We’re on the right track, baby, we were born this way!” Musical Theatre Productions closes our 2019-2020 Season returning to the Wave with SOMETHING WICKED: A Villainess Revue, featuring all of the bad girls that you love to hate!

Join us in Club Inferno, Hell’s hottest nightclub, where it’s “Ladies’ Night and the feeling’s right” - and all of your favourite female villains have gathered to hang up their broomsticks and poisoned apples, and kick up their heels for a night of wicked celebration. This is a frightful reunion of some of the evilest women from musical theatre including Ursula, Miss Hannigan, Mrs. Lovett, Audrey II, and the Heathers as well as villainesses from film and literature including Maleficent, Lady Macbeth, Cruella de Vil, Medusa, and more! This hilarious and twisted musical revue features villainous Broadway favourites likes “Pulled”, “Little Girls”, and “Cellblock Tango”; as well as dark twists on showtunes like “Comedy Tonight”, “Freak Flag” and “My Favourite Things” and pop songs from some of your favourite artists across the decades including “Born This Way”, “Evil Woman” and “Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”.

Following in the footsteps of our Broadway to the Max! and last year’s Show Off!: 30 Years of Musical Theatre, SOMETHING WICKED comes to steal the spotlight. All proceeds from this event go to the continuation of MTP’s mission to nourish local talent and inspire a passion for musical theatre.
